What is FEWLR?
FEWLR is the only major live auction platform for home heating oil.
If you scour the internet or call around to find the best price on heating oil, then you’ve been ordering oil the wrong way.
When you order oil using the FEWLR app, oil suppliers in your area compete for your individual order. This auction process (or “reverse auction”, as we like to call it) gets you a great price and all you did was press a button.
What Exactly Happens When I Order Oil on FEWLR?
Once you submit your order, the FEWLR app does two things: first, it compares the currently listed prices from our network of oil suppliers to find the lowest one. This price is also known as your “maximum price.” Then, FEWLR gives all of our suppliers in your area 10 minutes to bid on your order, which could lower the price for your order even further.

Want to hear a secret? When you “order” through a price listing website, you most likely aren’t generating an actual order for an oil supplier; you’re just sending them a request to call you back to finalize your order.
Additionally, when you order through a price listing website, the oil supplier who has the cheapest listed price at the top of the site is getting all of the orders, and whoever is below them gets nothing. That’s not the case with FEWLR. On our platform, suppliers customize their pricing on individual orders instantly based on their own needs. This means 10 different orders can go to 10 different suppliers, and they can all be the cheapest option for each respective customer. That’s the magic of a live auction; there’s no one single supplier that processes all FEWLR orders.
