How does Fewlr do it?
Homeowners (customers) use the Fewlr app to place an order for heating fuel by specifying an amount and a delivery timeframe. Before this order even reaches you, Fewlr pre-authorizes the customer’s card, so that your payment is guaranteed.
The Fewlr system then reviews your current price and compares it to other participating suppliers in the area to determine which suppler will get the order. However, here’s the cool part: if your price is higher than the current lowest price, you now have the opportunity to review the order and your price to determine if you want to reconsider it. You are given a few minutes to determine this. It’s just another opportunity for you to access more business.
For example, Fewlr may have an order for 300 gallons that is 3 miles from your location. If you have the lowest price, it will automatically send the order to you. However, if you do not have the lowest price, you will have a few minutes to determine if you want to go a little lower to get that order. It’s totally up to you and there is no pressure to do anything. It’s nice to just have the option.
