Yes! Fewlr is completely free for homeowners to use. There are no hidden fees or subscription costs.

Download the Fewlr app or visit Fewlr.com. Create an account, enter your location, choose the amount of oil you need, and watch as our suppliers compete for your order. Then, suppliers confirm your order and schedule your delivery.

No. Unlike automatic delivery services, Fewlr lets you order oil whenever you need it—no contracts, no commitments.

Fewlr does two things when you place an order:

  1. Our service sorts through our listed prices from our partnered suppliers.
  2. Then, Fewlr allows suppliers to compete for your order, ensuring you get a competitive price. The competition among suppliers drives prices down.

Delivery times vary based on your location and supplier availability. During peak winter months, deliveries default to 2-3 day delivery times. For more urgent deliveries, please message us in the Fewlr system or call us at 800-805-6244.

Fewlr currently accepts all major credit and debit cards. Please note, our trusted card processor puts an estimated hold on your card before your order is finalized, to ensure funds are available on your account. This is a hold and not a charge. Your hold will be removed and your card will only be charged for the amount of oil you receive, once we confirm delivery with the supplier. For debit cards, this hold is debited from your account when you place your order, and the correct amount will be refunded once we confirm delivery with the supplier.

In the future, more payment options will be available, such as “Pay-over-time” and “FewlPass”, which is a captive account that will let customers deposit funds into to pay for their oil.

Our secure card processor puts an estimated hold on your card before your order is finalized, to ensure funds are available on your account. This is a hold and not a charge.  This hold amount is generally higher than the amount of oil you are ordering, to account for any minor overages when your oil is delivered.

Your hold will be removed and your card will only be charged for the amount of oil you receive, once we confirm delivery with the supplier. For debit cards, this hold is debited from your account when you place your order, and the correct amount will be refunded once we confirm delivery with the supplier.

Once you place an order, you’ll receive a confirmation through the Fewlr app or website, as well as an email or text from the supplier confirming your delivery details.

Fewlr is available across ~98% of Connecticut towns. We are quickly working on making that 100%! We will be expanding outside of Connecticut later in 2025.

Fewlr works with verified and reputable oil suppliers. As a local company, we visit suppliers in person to ensure they meet our high standards for reliability and customer service.

No, Fewlr does not allow you to choose a specific supplier. The anonymous nature of Fewlr allows suppliers to compete for your order largely based on price, ensuring you get a great price and the fastest delivery available. The lowest bid wins your business, so you always get the best deal without the hassle of calling around. However, if you are concerned about who is delivering oil to your house, feel free to message us in the Fewlr system or give us a call at 800-805-6244. It is worth noting that every single Fewlr supplier is carefully vetted and reviewed before being added to the Fewlr supplier network.

The Fewlr app is always available, but Fewlr’s support hours are Monday – Friday, 8 AM to 6 PM Eastern Time. With Fewlr, you can order oil at any time of the day or night, but suppliers are generally most competitive on pricing during normal weekday business hours.

No, Fewlr does not charge homeowners any fees for using the platform. The price you see is the price you pay.

Fewlr gives you more control over your heating oil supply. With automatic delivery, you’re locked into a contract and may pay more when oil prices drop. Fewlr lets you buy on your terms and at our best available price.

Fewlr’s competitive marketplace ensures suppliers offer their best prices. While prices fluctuate due to market conditions, Fewlr helps you get the lowest available rate in your area at the time of ordering. Please note, Fewlr cannot always guarantee that we will have the best possible price compared to suppliers who are outside of the Fewlr network. If you see a cheaper price outside of Fewlr, please let us know! We would love to add that supplier to our network to ensure affordable oil is available everywhere.

Suppliers

To become a supplier, simply sign up through the Fewlr supplier portal at https://fewlr.biz/register/supplier Once you’re registered, you’ll be able to earn orders and connect with new customers in your area. Learn more about being a Fewlr supplier here: https://fewlr.com/supply-oil/.

By joining Fewlr, you get access to a growing base of customers actively seeking home heating oil. When a customer places an order, Fewlr pre-authorizes the payment and compares your pricing with other suppliers in the Fewlr network. If your price isn’t the lowest, you have the option to reconsider and adjust it within 10 minutes, giving you more opportunities to win business without pressure. If you don’t want to adjust your price, you do not have to. You can earn business by just putting in your listed price and doing nothing else.

Yes! By just staying active and adjusting your pricing to your liking, you can attract more business.

As a Fewlr supplier, all you have to do is set your pricing, schedule & deliver the orders, and upload a picture of the delivery ticket to Fewlr to verify the delivery was made. Don’t have time to do all of these steps? No problem! A Fewlr representative is happy to adjust your pricing and verify orders on your behalf, if you wish to do so.

When a customer places an order, Fewlr reviews your price and compares it to other suppliers in the Fewlr network. If your price is the lowest, you automatically receive the order. If it’s higher, you’re given a few minutes to review and adjust your price to potentially win the order. It’s up to you to decide if you want to lower your price, giving you more flexibility.

Fewlr’s service area settings are completely customizable. You can set a delivery radius in miles and then pick the exact ZIP codes that you offer delivery to. Additionally, you can set different ZIP codes to have varied pricing, such as a 1 cent discount to certain towns or areas.

No, Fewlr doesn’t require long-term commitments. You have full control over your availability and pricing.

Fewlr operates across Connecticut but plans to expand outside of the state in 2025, and we are constantly searching for more Northeast U.S. suppliers to join the Fewlr network.

There are no upfront fees to join Fewlr. 

Fewlr charges 5 cents per gallon of oil delivered, called the “Fewlr Fee,” as well as a 2.99% credit card processing fee, which goes straight to our credit card processor.

Payments are guaranteed through Fewlr. Before every order is placed, Fewlr pre-authorizes the customer’s credit card to ensure funds are received. Once a week, Fewlr sends you an ACH payment for all of the deliveries made in the prior week.

Yes! You can set your “standing price” to whatever price you choose, and can adjust it as many times as you’d like.  If your price isn’t the lowest on a particular order, you have the opportunity to reconsider and adjust it within a few minutes to potentially secure the order.

Fewlr provides detailed analytics and insights to help you track your performance, including the number of orders you’ve received and the pricing trends. You can use this data to stay competitive and optimize your business.

If you’re unable to fulfill an order that has been assigned to you, contact Fewlr by calling us at 800-805-6244 so we can reassign the order to a different supplier. Make sure to manage your availability and pricing to avoid overcommitting.
