As the founder of Fewlr, I wanted to provide you with some updates and let you know how things are going here at Fewlr. At Fewlr, we continually strive to lower home heating oil prices for you and do so in the most convenient manner possible. So please allow me to give you some insights on pricing as well as some new things we are working on.
Home Heating Oil Price Update
We’ve got some great news as it relates to the price of home heating oil purchased through the Fewlr app. Prices through Fewlr have been steadily coming down relative to traditional home heating oil prices. Personally, I live in Tolland, CT and surveyed nearby suppliers for price only to find out that recent orders placed through Fewlr represented either the least expensive oil, or were within a few pennies. And all customers had to do was click the “Get Fewld” button on the app to take advantage of the lower prices.
Here is the reason the prices through Fewlr are so good. As you probably know, Fewlr is a patent pending app and system whereby home heating oil suppliers compete for your orders, driving down prices in real time. Fewlr has been gaining traction among homeowners who heat with oil, like you. The more Fewlr users we have, the more competition among suppliers, and the lower the prices to you.
Over the past few weeks and months we have steadily increased our number of Fewlr suppliers and we will continue to do so on a regular basis. So you keep getting your heating oil for less!
FEWLR is a not just an app, it’s a movement
Fewlr was started right here in Tolland, Connecticut. It’s a family company, and our software and apps are 100% programmed and managed here in Connecticut. Fewlr is now available throughout all of CT and will be expanding to other states very soon. For those of you who use Fewlr to purchase your home heating oil, we sincerely THANK YOU!
As mentioned, Fewlr is a movement. It’s a revolutionary way of purchasing oil. The more homeowners who use Fewlr, the more suppliers will compete for your business – and that drives down your prices even further. So what can you do? Please let your friends and family know about Fewlr. Post positive experiences on social media. Heck, we certainly wouldn’t object if you just shouted from the rooftops! But you get the idea.

FEWLR to launch wireless tank monitoring in the app
One of the reasons so many homeowners go “on plan” with oil suppliers, rather than using Fewlr, is because they do not want the hassle of having to check the oil level in their tanks. Hey, I will fully admit that without my wife checking the tank level once a week or so (hey, she’s the responsible one), I would likely forget when I need to click that “Get Fewld” button on the Fewlr App to order oil! While the cost-savings of using Fewlr are significant, we still wanted a way to make sure you were always on top of the situation.
So, we will be rolling out a simple-to-use remote tank monitor that conveniently ties right into the Fewlr app. You simply screw it into the top of your tank, call us to set it up (it only takes a few minutes), and your Oil Level will be conveniently displayed right in the Fewlr App. Furthermore, you can set the App to send you helpful text reminders when your tank reaches a certain level. You won’t run out, and you can optimize your order volumes to save even more money.
We are currently beta testing the new, cellular monitors (no having to worry about connecting to your wi-fi) along with the latest version of the app. I can tell you from personal experience, it is rather awesome!
